A Little About Me

I have lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since childhood and started to work in the event industry as an assistant event planner at a high-end country club, while attending college. After graduating with a Business degree in Marketing and Economics, I decided my passion was working with people to create an amazing experience through event planning. Over the span of 29 years, I have planned thousands of weddings, social and corporate events. I decided to start my own company and utilize the experience and vendor relationships that are invaluable in this line of work.

Genevieve James is a family name. I am named after my grandmother Genevieve who was the consummate caregiver. She was not only selfless, she was amazing at anticipating the needs of others.

My grandfather James was a freethinking, hardworking, entrepreneur. He never met a stranger and, even in his nineties, had a resilient attitude.
